Finally made it After the main part of a group made it up to the railway tracks, and started to form chains, a handful of people were still behind, but also tried to get there. Some of them made it to run up the hill and finally jump into the middle of the sitting protestors (it's not to easy to jump, if a robocop grabs you while flying ;-) But once they were "safe" the police didn't try to get them out anymore. they've done that later - not by using massive violence (that doesn't look too good in the press) - just with subtile negotiation supported by pepper-spray.
